STEERWEB was initially established in 2003 in Bangladesh by an MBA student named Farhan Enam, who harbored ambitions for tech entrepreneurship. With some previous experience in IT during his undergraduate studies and having served as the Vice President of Information Systems for AIESC, the largest student-led youth development organization globally, Farhan did not create the business solely for profit. His aim was to tackle a specific issue. He sought to offer a learning platform for novice or less experienced web developers through real-life job orders, while simultaneously providing affordable solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises that could not afford technological advancements at a higher price. Farhan managed the business alongside his other professional commitments and opened a new branch in Australia in 2019. STEERWEB has entered into resellership agreements with numerous domain registrars and web hosting providers to deliver bundled packages to its clients while working on website development or mobile applications. Currently, STEERWEB acts as a reseller for LiquidNet Ltd., a successful UK-based hosting company founded in February 2003 in London, UK, specializing in domain registrations and web hosting services. Additionally, STEERWEB holds domain and hosting resellership agreements with UK2 Group, Resellerclub, and Enom.
